Infusion began construction in 2006. The goal of this project was to design and build an ultra-light, single-person vehicle that could travel forty miles in one hour using six liters of compressed hydrogen. Running on a hydrogen fuel cell, Infusion was capable of going up to 40 MPH.
The vehicle's body was created using fiberglass in a process called infusion. In this process, the entire mold is vacuumed so that there is a perfectly even distribution of resin. Infusion ultimately measured 22 x 10 x 13 inches with a weight of 29 pounds.
