APPLY FOR NEXT YEAR’S CLASS

If you are interested in engineering and taking on hands-on projects, then LAAE is the right place for you. Get an application from RM A-14 at Los Altos High School today!

WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR?

We take all students willing to put in the effort and collaborate with others through our various projects we undertake every year. Students that can share new ideas and come up with creative solutions are what makes this program thrive.

REQUIREMENTS

All applicants must be a Los Altos High School Student (9th-10th Graders). Complete all application questions and recieve a letter recommondation on the form provided along with your transcript(unofficial) and a photo copy of your student ID. Have all relevant documents and letter of recommondation turned in by the due date provided in this year's application.

INTERVIEWS

After submitting your application, you will be required to undergo our interview process, in order to evaluate your character and potential to be next year's member. We will contact you about assigning your interview date. If you can't make your assigned interview date, please contact us directly through email.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

If you are admitted for next year's program, please meet with your counselor to discuss adding Engineering Tech to your schedule for next year. Our classes will take up either 3rd or 5th period and you will be expected to attend afterschool hours as well. If you beleive you cannot make these committments please reconsider applying. Afterschools committments can be adjustable if that conflicts with your other activites.

VISIT US

Before applying, consider visting our facilites at RM A-14 to experience our workshop in action and get insight from our members. We meet afterschool on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 6:00pm.
